StripHTML

This function removes all HTML tags from specified string.

Syntax

StripHTML("stringValue");

Function arguments

• stringValue – (String) Text from which HTML tags are to be removed.

Return value

This function returns String. Returns input string in which all HTML tags were replaced with spaces. If there were no HTML tags in input string, same string is returned

Examples

Example 1: This will return ’Some string with html tags.’

val = "Some string with html tags."
newVal = StripHTML(val);

Example 2: This will return ’Some string without html tags.’ (nothing will be changed).

val = "Some string without html tags."
newVal = StripHTML(val);
