GetDictionaryId

This function gets numerical ID of the currently selected position, from given Defined Dictionary field.

Syntax

GetDictionaryId("fieldTitle");

Function arguments

• fieldTitle – (String) Name of the case field containing Defined Dictionary.

Return value

This function returns Decimal. Returns the ID of Defined Dictionary from specified case field.

Examples

Example 1: This returns the ID of Defined Dictionary from current case’s ’DictionaryField1′ field.

fieldId = GetDictionaryId("DictionaryField1");
