ValidatePLNIP

This function will validate specified NIP number in mf.gov.pl database.

Syntax

ValidatePLNIP(NIP,[VATonly]);

Function arguments

• NIP – (String) NIP number to validate
• VATonly – (Boolean) [optional] if true then function returns true only if company with specified NIP is active VAT payer

Return value

This function returns Boolean. Returns true if validation was successful, false otherwise

Examples

Example 1: This will check if value in NIP field is valid NIP number.

isValid = ValidatePLNIP([NIP]);

Example 2: This will check if value in NIP field is valid and active VAT payer NIP number.

isValid = ValidatePLNIP([NIP],true);
